MASTER OF COMPUTER APPLICATION (LATERAL)
The whole world is experiencing a revolutionary change and challenges by the usage of computers and Information Technology. The whole world is accessible in a small room at the tip of one's finger. The entire business and non-business transactions on the web sites are doing the business. MCA prepares the students to meet the ever increasing needs of the Industry at large. Software Engineering, System Analysis, Organization System and Structure equip students in problem solving and managing operations. The applications are innumerable and so are the opportunities for growing careers both at home and overseas.
The methodology for the teaching of MBA program includes more emphasis on learning through case-studies and role play method. Besides conventional class room teaching, it is supplemented with display of video cassettes and all modern teaching aids. Special focus is given on the individual and over all personality development of the students. Special short duration management development programmes, seminars, conferences and paper presentation is also organized from time to time. The students are also taken to various organizations for the purpose of plant visit and organizational study.

We developed this innovative approach to our curriculum after consulting with global business leaders and top employers who told us that MCA graduates need more of the universal ‘soft’ skills and real-world experience in order to be successful in the modern workplace. The scheme of examination and syllabus is prescribed by the Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow.
After study of all the operational areas of Computer Application during five semesters every student int the last semester has to undergo a project traning in any organization to work on live project.At the end of the traniing they are required to write a report,which examined in the last semester. This training is weightage of 500 marks.
